The K&N is the only filter worth buying as it will pay for itself many times over the lifetime of the vehicle. The performance gains from increased airflow is just a positive side-effect for my purchasing decisions. Every vehicle, atv, and motorcycle I own runs a K&N. I swear by them. I have had a regular paper element filter take on waterspray and disintegrate entering the carb causing all kinds of bad trouble out on the trail.

I instaled a K & N filter in my wifes 2003 Jeep Wrangler 4 cylinder, easy to do, a little more power and slight improvement in MPG.
