AutoAnything.com had the best deal for me for Cyber Monday. I was a new customer at the time and I got an extra discount. I trust K&N alot. I only notice a slight increase in performance. I think I can hear the air flow, which I don't mind.

By placing a K&N filter next to a competitor's filter, one can see how a K&N filter would not inhibit air flow. Since I am new to this and have just received the filters for my cars, I will have to experience how they perform from mileage checks and from perceived performance from driving the cars once the filters are installed. The only thing that I am concerned with is how these filters can function so long before cleaning; especially since these filters are coated with a type of oil or lubricant. Other filters have a lot of debris in them after some use and one would think that a K&N filter would collect even more debris since they are coated with a type of oil.

I received my new K & N air filter last week but was not able to install it until this past Monday. I had a problem getting my car started when it sat for a long time and the engine got cold. I cleaned the throttle body butterfly this past Monday and installed the air filter and now the car runs well. Since most of my daily trips are short, it will take a while for me to know the difference. I do notice that the car runs smoother. Four cylinder engines aren't known to be the smoothest engines but now it is running fine. Thanks for the good service and I will contact you again if I need anything else.

I have K&N air filters on my 1996 Z28 Camaro, 2004 Dodge Stratus (2.7 liter V6), and 1970 Chevelle 383 small block. This upgrade for your vehicle is a no brainer for better performance and fuel economy. Plus K&N air filters can be re-used with simple cleaning with K&N's cleaning kit. I recently replaced the stock element in my 2004 Stratus with a K&N filter as the price difference between the paper replacement element and the K&N filter was not that much and the benefits with the K&N unit made it the better value. I am well pleased with the K&N unit and saw the performance & fuel economy improvements immediately.

I installed a K & N filter less than two weeks ago in my 2003 Dodge Stratus R/T, and I've already experienced an average gain of three miles/gallon (and rising). Also, I noticed a significant improvement in throttle response immediately after installation. This is the second K & N filter I have purchased. I had one in my '87 T-Bird 5.0 L, and increased power, and mileage from 13 to 16.5 miles/gallon even on that old gas hog! When you have a K & N air filter, you have constant maximum air flow ALL THE TIME!
