After googling, installation was easy. 1/8 hexbolt wrench to loosen 6 bolts (do not take out)and lift them together with the cover. Pull out dirty forgotten air filter and slot-in beautiful Cyber K & N Terminator High Flow replacement. Super charged C230 works and sounds better! (5 min). lol

I noticed the gas mileage of my 2003 M-B C230 is not as high as before changing the filter. Is that normal or should I expect it to go back up soon?

Just got a '05 Benz C230 Kompressor. I figured put a K&N in right away to start paying for it with some improved MPG. I haven't see any on daily commutes of 28 miles combined hwy and semi-urban trip. i didn't feel anymore HP either. I'm taking it to Fla for the holidays and all articles read on the internet indicate it should get a min of 30MPG on the hwy @ 80MPH with a stock filter. We will see??? Maybe K&N's won't show any real gain on only 1.8liters thats already supercharged??? At least I'm never buying a new filter !!

I received the filter within a few days of ordering. I did have to modify the filter a little bit so that it would fit into the housing area. After cutting away a piece of the exterior, the filter fit right in without compromising it's filtering integrity.

This is a great product, and it fit perfectly. I envision getting allot of miles out of this air filter. K&N makes a great product, I suggest that you buy one for yourself, it will save you money in the long run.

Extremely easy to install, drop in replacement. There might be a little bit more low down torque. There is NO added induction noise for this vehicle - so it's "wife friendly"... ;-) Best thing is: It costs the same as the OE part!
