Installation on new vehicles is always a little tricky because of the limited space usually available but I have seen very good results in terms of power and economy as a result of the use of these filters.

K&N Air Filter review - 2007 Buick Rendezvous

Performance/acceleration improved. Very disappointed with the increase in fuel consumption. On the highway I have lost 2 MPG. (avg. about 65 MPH.)This was averaged for about 500 miles. City driving MPG has remained about the same. With the high cost of fuel I was hoping for an increase in MPG. The air filter has been on for about 2 weeks. Installation was rather easy. Considering going back to the OEM Filter for better fuel mileage and sacrificing engine response.

Unless you just want to get this filter so that you won't ever have to buy another one again I would recommend this filter, but if your like me and wanted to get better performance and gas mileage your just wasting your money. A lot of these reviews said that they got between 1-5 mpg better, I don't think it was because of these filters because I didn't even get 1 mile better.

I bought this filter to try and save gas on my wife's chevy uplander van. After I filled up. Within the distance to home 8 and 1/2 miles. The milage went up from 19 mpg to 25 mpg as I turned into the driveway @ 30 degrees air temperature. Not bad,not surprized,in lyons N.Y.
