K&N Air Filters are costly to buy up front, but I still prefer them over disposable filters. They easily last the lifetime of the vehicle, and do a better job of filtering air than disposable filters as well.

Filter fit is perfect and will save money in long run. I now have K&N filters on 1979 Mercedes 240D, 1987 Mercedes 560 SL and the Element. Get the filter cleaning kit, they are easy to clean. No more buying paper air filters. AutoAnything has great price.

High quality filter. The less restrictive design gives the car better throttle response as well as giving it a little bit more intake noise (a good thing). Gas mileage also improved.

I computed my gas mileage after the first full tank and it's currently running 2.5 MPG better than before. I don't feel much of a performance difference when I press down on the gas pedal, but with gas prices rising, I went for the filter. The ease of installation should be 10 stars!

Although K&N air filters initially appear expensive they are actually are a good value because they last a lifetime..I really did not expect much performance increase in an already performance pocket rocket. However, I saw quite an improvement without resorting to a high bypass K&N filter.
