Well I heard they help with gas mileage compared to the standard air filters. Like the fact that they are reuseable and think that alone is a plus, especially for my vehicle which requires two and uses premium gas and doesn't get the best mile per gallon ratio. Haven't had them long enough to know but I hope they help out, especially with rising gas prices. Look foward to see if they come through and meet my expectations.

I have used K&N air filters for many years in many vehicles. I rate them as the best.

I have installed K&N air filters in four different types of vehicals. I have been pleased with the performance improvement in all. E350, S550, VW Touareg and an Element. Power improvement in all. Some gas mileage help. It will be the first thing I do on my next car.

Good filters

These are about the best you can do without an air intake mod.

I have a 2008 VW Touareg and never before have I seen 480 miles (usually about 420-30)per tank on the range display..... the only thing that has changed is the K&N air filter. I'm getting much better gas millege both on the HWY and around town. well worth the extra 10-20 bucks over the OEM filter. Very easy to install.

Much better than stock

I'm a real believer of K&N air filters. I see some slight improvements in gas mileage over stock and the car has the sense of being slightly quicker, especially during acceleration onto the highway. I'm very happy with these air filters.
