This is my second K&N filter system first was cold-air to help 03 S10 get up best decision I ever made, increased power and milage. My second filter went on 2011 Colorado I5, it has helped with power and milage too. If you want value and quality get a K&N filter you will be glad you did and your vehicle will love you for doing it Only takes a few minutes to install so get it.

I believe the less restrictive K&N type filter along with the factory air box that draws air from the outside is more effective at increacing power than these so called cold air intakes.

2011 Chevy Colorado intake filter

I have owned 3 Colorado's since 2004. I have always put the series 63 complete intake system on and this is the first time I decided to try this filter before I bought the entire system. After going through 3 full tanks of gas, I did notice a slight increase in gas mileage. I tried to find the average increase and on average it increased about 1/2 MPG. The filter by itself does not add the same HP as the kit, but you can tell it frees up the motor a little bit. For the price, it does a good job.

Great product but a little pricy compared to Spectre which unfortunately doesn't make a filter for the Colorado.

Well, I'm getting 3mpg. more with the pop-in filter. This is on a 12' Colorado 2.9 4cyl. I had a difficult time finding a good price on a paper filter, so I spent the $49.
