After install into my 2016 GMC Canyon I found an amazing difference in throttle response. Less pedal to achieve the same results. I have in the past experienced Chugging of the engine vs transmission. This is a common problem with the truck as well as the Colorado. I found that this problem has all but disappeared using this filter. I have used K&N in all my cars and trucks for the past 20 years, but never noticed this much difference from stock to K&N.

I've been using K&N filters for years. I just purchased a new GMC Canyon, and one of the first things I did was order a new K&N air filter and replaced the OEM filter. Life time filter, clean it every 50K miles, no more replacing air filters at service intervals...why would you use anything else!!!

Just installed it last week. Does breath a bit better, not sure about the gas mileage yet. Looking forward to it increasing. (V6)

Great filter! Noticed about 1 MPG increase over stock filter. Don't know if it's K&N or if my 18 month old filter just needed replaced. Will say that he K&N is thinner than stock and seems less restrictive. Only regret is that I kind of wish that I just went with the intake system instead. No increase in engine sound from this at all. Heard reviews saying intake was too loud and some suggested an actual decrease in acceleration, so I decided to go with this instead.

This is the second K&N filter I've purchased. I like that it's a permanent filter and I don't need to purchase new ones every few months
