I grew up using K&N until I purchased one for an Audi S4. It sealed so poorly I took it back. The parts guy asked if I had ever tried a Green filter. I got one the fit and seal was very impressive. This is the only brand I use now. I have one in all the vehicles I own.

The filter is well made. The price was reasonable compared to other similar models. However, installation was a b!tc#. It required the use of a c-clamp to hold down one side of the air box because the river molding on the filter is so thick compared to the stock one. Once in the car my gas mileage and power was noticeably up. Normally my car gets 25 miles to gallon, but with filter was getting above 30. The filter was causing the engine to act funny had to remove.

the only reason i didnt give it an excellent for ease of install- is because the flanged lip is a bit thicker than stock.. so you have to work to get then stock air box back together- but really- I'm sure that just makes for a better fit.

Not enough time has elapsed to grade this GAS SAVING attempt.I haven't BURNED up a FULL tank yet, so I still am watching the needle go down.

Right out of the box the quality is noticeably better than stock. I installed this within less than 5 minutes and immediately went for a test drive. No real noticeable differences in performance, however the sound of the intake was increased and instantly noticeable :). It may have made the car a hair faster but i think that is all in my head. I can now hear more of whats going on under the hood, which is highly appreciated driving a stock WRX (silent). Gas mileage will probably not change at all, but if it does it will not be noticeable, since my driving style varies greatly day to day/mood. All in all, i am pleased with my filter for the simple fact that it sounds great. My friend, a regular passenger, said it was quicker, but i beleive it may be due to the louder volume, making it SEEM faster. No way to tell for sure, but it was worth the $50 hands down.

Immediately noticed smoother acceleration, and my gas mileage has raised 3mpg! I have used K&N in the past, but heard that Green offers better filtration (K&N has high flow but has been proven to not filter extremely small particles) but I was surprised by the immediate noticable increase in both power and mileage! I highly recommend this product!

I noticed increased midrange and high end power with this filter, which definitley helps with merging into freeway traffic. In the two tankfuls that I have had it, I have noticed a 7% decrease in fuel efficiency, but that could just be due to my ECU adujusting to the higher air flow.
