aFe Magnum Force Cold Air Intakes Part #51-10312 Customer Reviews

Installing it on my 2008 Nissan Titan was overall fairly easy with one exception. The washer fluid reservoir has to be manipulated in order to get the last bolt holding in the stock airbox, and the connector is at the bottom, another pair of hands to hold the tank up while the other removes the last bolt makes the whole process much easier. For my set up, this system roars at 3,000 rpms and irritates those slow-pokes on the highway ;)

The unit itself looks good and was easy to instal. However it thru up a code for the engine check light. I ordered a unit for a 2011 Titan but the installation instructions clearly say it is for an '04 -'08. I suspect this is the problem even though it matched up because the later models are tuned a little different.

I put this cold air intake on my 2008.5 Nissan Titan. There has been a noticeable increase in power. Sound is only increased under heavy acceleration. Overall I'm very pleased with it, especially the looks. However, my previous vehicle (2005 Ram Hemi) produced night and day results after installing an intake. This truck wasn't quite that profound. Installation couldn't have been easier and the overall look is very clean and nice. Small difference in gas mileage, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 per gallon. Would highly recommend.

you are going to love this intake. the intallation was very easy. the only hard part was taking the old one out. you have to remove the windshield washer fluid reservoir to get to the bottom bolt. other than that. very big power gain noticed. also no annoying noise that so many complain about when putting in a new CAI. how fun and i high recomend this product.

the only thing that wasn't in the instructions was that you have to take out the wind shield washer fluid tank to get at one of the bottom bolts that holds the factory air box in. other than that it was a piece of cake installing it. there is no hesitation when you step on the gas.
