My 03 dakota sounds amazing wih this intake and my e cutout on the exhaust. Easy to install. My only concern is the rubber trim seals. The one is a bit too long and doesnt bend as well as it neess to. May need trimmed. At least it wasnt too short. Great value. Would def recommend.

I bought this for better mpg's I was a little skeptical but I gained two miles. Also it gave me a deep growl at mid rpms I couldn't be happier.

This is by far the best cold-air intake I have owned. I am getting an extra 2mpg and the power increase is very noticeable my passing speed dead spot is gone and throttle response is much quicker. And there is none of that obnoxious whistle that every other cold-air intake I have owned has produced but there is a very nice deep growl when you get on it. And the best part is with the power gains and unique sound my wife loves it and wants to put an aFe cold-air intake on every car we ever own

Overall a good product. If you're not very mechanically inclined then it would be best to have it installed by someone who is. If you have an automatic then you will need to relocate the trans control module with a new bracket that is included. Be careful when installing the new bracket since two of the bolts for the bracket are hood hinge bolts. As for performance, I haven't had it on long enough to say if I've had any gains but I definitely tell that there is better throttle response.

Well I have a 2001 Durango w/ over 168K miles. I was pricing cold air intakes and found this aFe brand at AutoAnything was the cheapest and had the biggest power gains. It was easy very to IM customer service when I had questions. Ordering the item was easy and easily to track down the status. I liked the quality of parts and pictures on instructions but one "secret" that SHOULD BE A NOTE in the installation is to keep the same mounting position of the hood hinge when you use the transmission computer bracket. I just started to be a DIYer on my truck and didn't think about the position of the bolts for the hood but finally figured it out. Looked in the instructions and nothing. So had I known about that one thing it would have been installed within an hour. I drove the truck once complete and instantly noticed a difference in get up and how my RPM's are lower than normal. I aslo figured a slight increase in MPG. Lastly I told everyone about it the next day at work and said it's worth the money and effort to purchase a cold air intake!

Installation wasn't bad but instructions could have been better. It is a little loud when you get on the throttle though. At times to loud!

The intake is amazing. It sounds unreal and everyone around me can hear near and far. The exhaust i have on my truck along with the intake increased mileage just a little bit but i really haven't tried to keep my foot at ease. The intake was a since to install and im really impressed with it so far. Always wakes me up in the morning just to hear the roar of it.

Installation was easy. Fit was excellent. What surprised me was the sound. It is incredible at mid rpms. I had no idea an intake could sound so good!

I ordered the AFE cold air intake and did not know what to expect as far as ease of installation or performance. Make sure you lay out all your parts and read the instructions twice before you begin the installation process. I had to reroute the transmission control module, from the front of the vehicle to the rear. If you are good with tools this process should go real smooth. After that, the rest of the installation was a piece of cake. I am a detail freak, so it took me almost 4 hours. Make sure that you replace the screws that you remove, so you will not loose them. I love the AFE cold air intake along with the new roar of the engine. Do not drive with the "over-drive off" or you will get a check engine light. The price paid was fair and less than the other more well known cold air intakes.
