This was simple to install- I'm no mechanic and it took 1/2 hour. Replaces the factory airbox and the corrugated tube, hooks up to the factory (resonator?) not all the way over to the throttle body. You can hear the difference and feel some at higher RPM. I installed with a Bully Dog GT, drove 250 miles on I-80. Slowing to idle it does vibrate, but I've had 2 Frontiers and my Dad has one, they all seem to rattle like a diesel at low RPM. Maybe a bit of mileage increase (1-2 mpg).

Installation took about 45 minutes. Also noted an increase in power. Not convinced yet on any increase in mpg, but time will tell.

I bought the dry filter CAI and I love it. No solvents or oil to get everywhere. Just tap the big stuff off and use a shop vac and soft brush to get the fine particulate. Very easy to maintain.

Good quality and Economical. Only thing I can say wrong is that it uses the Factory air transfer assembly where the more expensive ones come with their own smother metal tube. However, modern vehicles already have a pretty good assembly any way. You just will not have the nice shiny pipe from the filter to the throttle. The lack of a transfer tube is why the unit cost significantly less. Still provides good increase in power, fuel economy while adding a nice low rumble to our engine. Install used standard tools and oonly a rudementry understanding of mechanics.

It took less than 15 min. to install, looks, sounds, and enhances performance, would recomend to anybody looking for this type of product. Haven' checked mpg yet, but sure it has improved. Excelent value.

aFe claims an additional 11 hp and 15 ft pds torque, but I don't really feel it. I can hear the difference, and it isn't very loud, so that's good (I think). My main goal was to help with fuel efficiency, but I haven't filled up since getting it yet so I don't know if it made a difference yet. The installation was fairly easy, and the price was very good.
