This intake came very fast and install was fairly easy. It looks great and sounds incredible! Throttle response is better and my car accelerates a lot faster now. I recommend this intake to anyone looking for major horse power gain and a better sounding engine.

I bought & installed my aFe cold air intake to help improve mileage and power. It is only slightly better than stock for mileage. The sound is akin to the old days when you'd turn the top of your stock cleaner upside down and it adds slightly more power. An upcoming road trip will determine mileage if I can keep my foot out of it.

I got this intake for my 2000 jeep grand Cherokee. Nothing fit. First the fresh air tube for the transfer and trans case was too short so I had to cut up the old one to extend the 5 inch long section they give you to reach 12. After this I thought the rest would be a sinch. It wasn't the box was about 2 inches off of all the mounting points. I finally got all of the mounting points to line up with bending the air box and moving steering fluid lines. Once I got this finished the box was too tall for the hood to close. I had to grind down the box approx. half a inch just to close the hood. If you don't have a fairly high level of mechanical skill DO NOT BUY THIS it took me 2.5 hours to install. With that said it does look very good and sounds terrific with a V8 flownaster exhaust and a superchip has an amazing deep breathing sound.

The afe cold air intake system is well worth the money. The kit is way better than the k&n. The kit seals to the hood very tight and it also seals around the intake tube which the k&n didn't. The jeep sounds awesome at WOT and it pulls harder now. No difference in gas mileage maybe a little lower around town but that is expected with the jeep sucking in so much more air now, it dumps more fuel. Got to pay to play!

The intake was very easy to install the directions were pretty good and there is not a lot of noise under my hood like other intakes I have installed overall I'm very pleased with the intake.
