Everything needed for install is included. All the way down to the little security torx bit needed to remove the stock maf sensor. I was definitely impressed.

Looks great! I noticed an increase in performance. Instal was easy except for the final 3 bolts. The holes on the filter box NEED to be a little bigger to make it easier to line all three of them up. Got the first two and could not get the last one to line up. I will have to take it all appart to drill out the hole so it will line up.

Bottom line. The kit looks great, and as per the trip computer in my 6.0 diesel Ford Excurion it is giving me about 1.2 mpg boost (includes a combination of city and hwy driving)over the stock air box. However, if the design team had been present during the 3 hour install I would have been sorely tempted not to choke them out. The thing that gets you is the directions look complete (they even include pictures) but they leave critical illustrations out (like how the airbox connects to the plastic tube containing the air sensor). Critical written instructions were missing as well. Be sure to check that the threaded sections do not have residual plastic stuck in them. The filter certainly makes the truck louder. Also noted a rattling noise after I get into it. The rattle goes away after 3 "knocks."

Ripped out the old and put the new one in, took about 30 minutes. Absolutely wonderful. I couldn't be more pleased. Getting 2 mpg more, increased speed and power off the line. For being a sealed unit, it sounds amazing. Great product, well worth the money!!

The only issues that I think could improve are the following: 1. More noticeable number for AFE tech support. 2. With the digital world the way it is now the photo's of installation should be better. a. Hard to see from the instruction where the crank case tube hooked in to the new. 3. performance on horsepower is better but mileage improvement is nothing to write about yet.

Its a great intake, it adds a little but of awesome sound to your truck. The installation instructions leave a little to be desired, but the actual installation is actually pretty easy. It should be noted, that I did notice a little better throttle response and overall performance. Hopefully will see those MPGs climb too.
