I opted for the CAI without the box, this thing is loud when you get on it. Cruising, you can hardly tell it's there. Easy to install. Gas mileage went from 15.9 to 15.5. Seamed to help when pulling my travel trailer. Other mods on this truck, aFe throttle body spacer, Jet MAS air sensor, Magnaflow Tru X muffler dual exhaust straight out the back.

As other reviews have said it took about half an hour to install. very easy. Overall very happy with the product. When you step on it much deeper sound. Can be loud while towing our camper. Also looks really cool. Increase gas mileage about 1 MPG.

I just installed the new air intake system with a flowmaster cat back exhaust, the are great together. I was concerned about the interior noise from the intake being it's not a sealed box. However you really can't here it at all. The install took about 25 minutes and was easy. Everything fit perfectly together. The performance is top notch.

This system is the easiest thing in the world to install. The instructions are step by step. No guess work. Save yourself labor charges and do it yourself. It took me 45 minutes and 10 of that was locating my tools. Great sound after install. Didn't get the gas mileage increase I thought I'd get, but I think that's b/c my truck came from Cali. The emissions over there screw with the internal computer and don't allow the system to fluctuate like regular emissions. But overall, Outstanding Buy...

2008 Tundra 5.7 crewmax. I inatalled JBA dual side exhaust, airaid throttle body spacer and AFE Cold air intake all in the same day. Its hard to tell if they helped the performance because the truck ran so good before. I have not even used a full tank of gas yet to tell if my milage went up. I am happy with every thing except the throttle body spacer. Just looking when I installed it, the spacer looked smaller than the ventura of the throttle body. I am going to run it for a month then pull it out and run it for another month without the spacer. Opp's the AFE cold air intake installed great, everything fit just like it should and took less than an hour to install. I recomend AFE.
