I have only had this filter for a few days, but I like it so far. It appars to have all of the features of the best known cleanable air filter but without the regular oiling required.

I noticed an immediate increase in h.p. My gas mileage went up as well. I think the other "oiled" type of filter I was using was restricting the air flow some.

This is the second aFe Pro dry I purchased from Auto Anything, the other for a 07 Hemi Ram. It does make a definite difference in millage, approx. 1 to 2 mpg. Better sound and performance. Not having to oil the filter makes it easy to clean and keeps the throttle body free of excess oil. Very well made.

I wasn't happy about how it fit in the box compared to how the original filter fit. I had to almost smash it in. other than that the shipping was super fast, it works great once I got it in and figured out why the check engine light came on.

I was very happy that the aFe Pro-Dry S Air Filter was available for my '99 Cadillac DeVille. I like the no-oil feature, too. I would recommend this filter to any car enthusiasts that have been using K&N products. This is a high-quality alternative.

Very high quality that one would expect from an American company. Exact fit in my Y2K MC SS. I like the idea of a cleanable lifetime "dry" versus throw-away "landfill" filter. For the price of 4 throw-aways a person can have not only a lifetime filter, but a filter that cleans better and allows the engine to "breathe". Time will tell whether I get better fuel economy. I notice greater torque on acceleration.
