Best drop-in air filter for any car

Reviewed By Anthony C (Scottsdale, AZ) Reviewed for a 2008 BMW 6-Series —12/25/2015 8:37 AM

I've always replaced the factory paper filters with a K&N filter for all my cars. They enable the engine to breath better, and although i didn't do a truly controlled scientific experiment on fuel economy/performance, my measurements always showed a better MPG. Also, for those concerned about it, I have never had any issues with dealerships and warranties, and the like. As long as you place the sticker on the airbox, they don't try to throw it out when the car is in for service.

Greaaaaaaat!

Reviewed By Jesse C (OGDEN, UT) Reviewed for a 2015 Acura TLX —4/3/2018 5:29 AM

I had a K&N filter before dropping this in that had about 30,000 miles on it. I noticed that the aFe filter flowed more than 10% better than the K&N. I wasn't expecting much of a difference. I dropped it in and wow what a difference. The car could breath again. It felt like my car had been an asmatic and now it's lungs were clear. It felt more powerful and much better throttle response. Now my gas mileage has seemed to drop a little but that is okay with me a for the power trade off.
