I chose AEM over K&N because you get the same warranty and design without the additional hassle of oiling and possibly contaminating you MAF sensor.

Great filter. Had one before on my car for 3yrs. Finally got around to getting a new one. After installing the new replacement filter I got better everything. Car felt way better, more power all around. And sounds great.

Bought new AEM filter to replace one which is several years old & the rubber part of the cone had rotted. New filter is apparently made from a different rubber material and filter material is a dry, washable type. Also bought a pre-filter sock which slips over the whole filter. Am satisfied with both products so far but haven't had to wash filter yet.
