K&N Air Filters Reviews

Another great K&N product

Reviewed By TODD S (Lansing, MI) Reviewed for a 2007 Cadillac Escalade —7/13/2007 5:27 AM

I have been purchasing K&N drop-in filters from Autoanything.com for years. In all cases they improve throttle response and nominally increase gas mileage. I have found that the results are more noticable in certain vehicles. My latest purchase was for my 2007 Cadillac Escalade. Gas mileage has gone up about 1.0 MPG overall. I honestly have not noticed much different performance with this particular vehicle - perhaps because it comes stock with 403 horsepower (HP) and any variance above that would be very hard for me to detect. On lower rated HP vehicles I have had(ie. 2001 Tahoe, 2001 Seville SLS, 2006 Cadillac SRX), the increase in horsepower is definitely noticeable. Regardless, they are a great investment because they eliminate the need to purchese replacement filters FOREVER. If you check prices, including what others charge for shipping, Autoanything is definitely the place to go for this product.

Heavy Duty!

Reviewed By Allen H (VALLEY CITY, ND) Reviewed for a 2008 Ford F-150 —2/25/2015 8:41 PM

I installed one of these factory replacement dry filters on my 08 F150 5.4L because I drive gravel allot and you have to change filters constantly. I like these because you can just give it a bath and let it dry in the dish drainer till morning, slap it in and your on your way. As far as the hype goes about adding power or gas mileage I'd say that's all hype, which is why I went this route. Cheaper and I've always lost low end power with full CAI's. Heck of a $ just for throaty engine sound.
