K&N Air Filters Reviews

Last filter I will need to buy

Reviewed By darrin g (CARO, MI) Reviewed for a 2012 Chevy Traverse —4/26/2016 12:20 PM

Every new or different vehicle I purchase gets a K&N filter as the first purchase simply because I will never need another filter. I recommend keeping the old filter for when it's time to service the K&N because to guarantee it is cleaned and oil correctly you will need at least 3 days to do the job. I don't see any performance gains or increase in mileage but what do gain is piece of mind knowing my engine will be working smarter and not harder to obtain longevity through less work.

New breath for an old vette

I received the K&N filter assembly in less than 24 hours. Installed it immediately...it fit perfectly...looks great...will give the old vette the air it needs running through the mountains in Colorado.

On the fence

Reviewed By Darryl R (Edmond, OK) Reviewed for a 2015 Chevy Tahoe —6/7/2017 4:19 AM

Purchased this filter to install in my wife's 2015 Tahoe LTZ since it had not been changed in 30,000 miles. Decided to go with the charcoal filter because of the constant dust here in Oklahoma. After install, I noticed a horrible humming sound after the A/C was activated. It would get louder as you turned the air higher. Tried switching filter around to ensure airflow arrow was not wrong, same issue. I've decided to go with a standard OEM filter in lieu of this issue, hence the markdown.
