K&N Air Filters Reviews

Let it breathe

Reviewed By Brooks O (New Bloomfield, MO) Reviewed for a 2008 Chrysler Crossfire —10/9/2014 3:25 PM

Couldn't imagine how air was even getting through the stock paper filters. I grew up with those and never had a thought about how restrictive they could be. Installed the K&N in the stock intake on my 2008 Crossfire and am pleased with the fitment. The value is unmatched when I consider buying two of these (Crossfire takes two) for the life of the car or the paper ones and $40 bucks everytime they are changed. Now to see if there is any change in performance or mileage....

K&N-well worth the purchase price

Reviewed By Zebulon V. J (Alvin, TX) Reviewed for a 2008 Chrysler Crossfire —11/4/2009 11:27 AM

I recently purchased (2) K&N AIR FILTERS WITH THE RECHARGE KIT FOR MY 2008 CROSSFIRE. UPON INSTALLATION, I IMMEDIATELY NOTICED A CHANGE IN FOOT PEDAL TO ENGINE RESPONSE TIME ( A MERCEDES 3.2L- 12 SPARK PLUG ENGINE ). THIS CHANGE WAS NOTED WHEN WE WERE STILL HAVING 90 PLUS DEGREE DAYS IN HOUSTON. THE BEST EXAMPLE I CAN OFFER IS THE DIFFERENCE MOST PEOPLE EXPERIENCE IN COOL WEATHER (DENSER AIR) VS HOT WEATHER DRIVING CHARACTERICISTICS. I NOTED THAT MY CAR NOW GETS APPROX. 1 MORE MPG ON THE HIGHWAY. RECOMEND K&N W/O HESITATION.

Injen Replacement Air Intake Filters Reviews

Good replacement

Reviewed By Tae K (Puyallup, WA) Reviewed for a 2008 Nissan Titan —12/24/2014 11:08 AM

This was a replacement for my Injen oiled filter. I heard that oiled filters can cause damage to the engine and mass air flow sensor so I thought I'd give this one a try. This particular filter did not have the reverse conical filter element at the top of the filter like the oiled filter does so it seems like it would flow less (less surface area). Not sure if that would make a difference. Installation was easy. Satisfied with my purchase.
