Paper air filter for my cars run $20 to $32, so the K&N pays for itself (with recharger kit) in 2 to 3 years. When you add in the fact that it gives you slightly better fuel efficiency, there's no reason not to have one. It's the first thing I order for any car that I buy. Installation is a five minute operation. I've never dyno'ed my cars, but I've read that others have noticed increases of up to 2 horsepower with these.
