"I put this air filter in my 2001 Honda Accord and wow...if nothing else I now get 40 more miles per gallon than I used to! May not sound like much but it adds up! I also notice that my car is more responsive too. "With standard paper filters costing $15 a piece, I was looking for a reusable filter. At the cost of two and half paper filters, I now have a filter that should last a lifetime. Since buying this new filter for my Honda Accord, I did see a small increase in mileage. My mileage went from 28.3 mpg to 29.6 mpg under the same driving conditions. I am very happy with the increase in mileage as I was only looking for the convenience of having a reusable filter." —Vincent P from Dixon, CA bought a K&N Air Filters for a 2001 Honda Accord.
"replaced the filter in camry and could see the gas mileage went up slightly. less oil we have buy from our "Saudi Friends". the Religon of Peace" —Robert S from Annandale, NJ bought a K&N Air Filters for a 2001 Honda Accord, 5.7L V8.
"I bought K & N filters for both of my cars, a honda and a toyota. The filter comes pre-oiled (though you'll want to buy the cleaning and oil kit for when it needs it. It won't work without being oiled after cleaning,) and installation is the same as any air filter. Since the K & N filter allows better airflow, you'll notice a small increase in power and fuel efficiency. For the price, around $35-40, you'll save on the overall cost of air filters for your car. There is no reason not to buy one." —Daniel B from Huntington Station, NY bought a K&N Air Filters for a 2001 Honda Accord.
"I went from an AEM Short Ram to this, trying to keep everything looking stock on my car. The performance of this filter is just as good to me.
You are not getting the deep sound when you punch the acceleration but it's a noticeable power." —Alex T from Rochester, NY bought a K&N Air Filters for a 2001 Honda Accord, 3.0L V6.
"i use K&N air filters in all of my vehicles- i would never use anything else- we also got better gas millage- you can never beat that- thanks K&N" —Robert B from Galloway, NJ bought a K&N Air Filters for a 2001 Honda Accord.
"An air filter that outlasts the car and offers a bump in power. What more could anyone ask for?" —Brian K from Westminster, CA bought a K&N Air Filters for a 2001 Honda Accord.
"This is the second K&N air filter I bought for my vehicle from autoanything, and it's for the 4 cyl 2001 Honda Accord EX we recently bought. My wife and I so far only have two vehicles. Needless to say the quality of the product, the ordering, and shipping. I give my thumbs up to autoanything as usual. The filter itself was very easy to install due to the design of the Honda's air filter box. Then a few days later, I drove for relocation from Dallas to Boston. The vehile had about 103k miles on it when we purchased it. Including me, I believed the car carried about 350-400lbs. i drove at the speed limit, and the mpg was no less than 29. I am very satisfied with the result, given that 29mpg is for a brand new car with much less carrying weight. Same with the K&N air filter on our 2006 V6 toyota highlander. I, myself, did a test by driving from Dallas to Houston at night with CD and AC on. I drove at 65mph, and got >27mpg. (should mention I used mobile1 fully synthetic oil, that should also make some contribution to the mpg gain.) Actually, my experience with K&N is that you will see an obvious mpg gain when you are driving at a moderate speed on highway as suggested by the vehicle manufacturer. Surely when you drive faster you burn more gas and you see less improvement. For example, the mpg was 23-23.5mpg when my wife and I drove our Highlander at 75mph with all the stuff we carried to a national park. Also I believed that the horsepower and/or mpg gain vary by vehicles. Overall, using a K&N air filter is a good investment on your vehicle, especially new ones. I already saved some money on the air filter replacement and gas on my highlander over the past 5 years. Don't know their results on hybrids, haven't read a review on that yet. It ill be good if someone likes to make a comment." —Jianming L from Dracut, MA bought a K&N Air Filters for a 2001 Honda Accord, 2.3L 4-cyl. engine.
"I bought 2 K&N air filters for my 2001 Honda Accord and 1998 Toyota Sienna. In my Accord I have noticed an increase in horsepower. I don't drive the Sienna very much, but I think it seems to accelerate smoother and have a little more power as well. I've only gone through one tank of gas with the filter in my Accord and don't think there's much of an improvement. I'm not very impressed with the mileage I'm getting from it anyways. I would recommend the filters to anyone who is going to have their car for a while. It is definitely worth the investment if you're going to have to buy 3 or more normal air filters for your car while you own it." —Gus L from Snowflake, AZ bought a K&N Air Filters for a 2001 Honda Accord.
"It was easy to install, and I felt the gas saving after installing it (about 2mpg or 5-10%) saving. These are approximate so maybe the factory has different info." —Laith R from Fremont, CA bought a Spectre Air Filter for a 2001 Honda Accord.
