then i took a chance and bought it. pretty spectacular. no it won't block a stream of water from your facet, and is especially leaky where your fingers are in contact with it. however, general high humidity and normal splash and rain haven't touched it. my filter is down in my wheel well, forward of the right tire. if any position is going to get wet, it's this one. haven't sucked water once and i can't notice a difference in performance nor sound. also, i call this a condom for my air intake because of how easy it is to put on. i didn't move anything at all, you just slip it right over your filter. ALSO: the dimensions they post for these filters are mislabeled. when it says circumference of top and bottom, it means diameter. it seems believable on the site, but go out and measure your filter, base circumference of mine was 16" or something like that.

In all reality, the wrap is probably not needed but, I do use my truck for hunting and work all year. This wrap is worth the money strictly for my peace of mind knowing that whatever I can get my truck into, it will have no trouble getting me out. There are a ton of part numbers to choose from so I just started a chat with an Auto Anything rep and they helped me get the right part # and color that I wanted in 1.5 minutes. It was to my door in 36 hours.
