K&N Air Cleaner stock replacement

Reviewed By Don K (Toledo, OH) Reviewed for a 2005 Honda S2000 —8/7/2012 11:09 AM

I put it in a, new for me, 2005 Honda S2000. It does sound a bit different under acceleration, and time will tell if I get a little better mileage. I also have had them in a 1995 Impala SS, 2003 Nissan Maxima SE, 2003 Focus SVT. It's a no brainer. Put 'em in and clean them and re-oil them at 50,000 mi. They're better at 50,000 mi than a new Fram filter. I recommend them for sure.

AFE Pro-Dry / S2000

Reviewed By William R G (Minden, LA) Reviewed for a 2005 Honda S2000 —4/15/2009 2:55 AM

The AFE Pro-Dry filter was a perfect fit, and upon inspection was very well made, with great attention to detail. I had tried two other manufacturer's filters, one foam and the other pleated and oiled cotton, and both were a a step down in performance and quality over the AFE Pro-Dry. The AFE Pro- Dry has a molded in velocity stack, (venturi) which helps the high r.p.m. flow, and I can really feel the difference when I VTEC my S2000. Additionally, I love the no-oil feature that makes cleaning the filter a breeze. This is, in my opinion, the best air filter available for the S2000, hands down.

A Good Choice

Reviewed By Kirk B (Blue Springs, MO) Reviewed for a 2010 Chevy Camaro —11/10/2016 2:45 PM

My 2010 Camaro had 25k miles on it so it was time for a filter. Research indicated the stock air intake box was nearly equivalent to all the fancy aftermarket Cold Air Intakes on dyno testing. So I thought I would just go with a high-flow high-quality air filter replacement. Appears to be of good quality and was a perfect fit.
