The K&N air filter was not hard to install in a 2008 Mazda 3. I think I am getting about 1/2 of a M.P.G. better mileage. I think I am getting a little more horse power. If you plan on keeping your car over 100,000 miles, getting the K&D air filter makes sense.

As far as I'm concerned the AEM dryflow filter for my Mazda 3 was a No Brainer. 32 bucks for a filter that will last most likely the life of the car. Just pull it out once a year and clean it.The OEM cost close to 20 bucks and it's one a done then buy another so Obviously the AEM will pay for itself a couple times over in the long run. I've noticed a small boost in fuel economy and throttle response. Big shout to AutoAnything for free overnight shipping. I've never seen that.
