K&N Air Filters Reviews

Continuing on with K&N Filters

Reviewed By Robert S (Warner Robins, GA) Reviewed for a 2005 Mazda Miata/MX-5 —3/13/2012 8:34 AM

I have used K & N Filters exclusively with all of my vehicles for many years. I don't like changing air filters every few months. I found the K&N filter to be practical, cost effective and more importantly, convenient. They also work well and contribute to an increase in gas mileage. I just shake them off when they get really dusty and return them to the car. After a long while I do clean and recharge them. It was reasonable to buy the same filter when I changed vehicles recently. I recommend the filter to anyone who will listen. It is certainly an excellent product in my opinion.

Much better than expected performance enhancement!

Reviewed By Marc A (Roseville, CA) Reviewed for a 1996 Ford Explorer —7/9/2016 10:48 PM

First of all, it fits better than the original Motorcraft (or whatever brand) filter was in there. The boost in performance is noticeable. My old filter wasn't really dirty; I just knew I wanted to engine to breathe better, and man does it. Much more effortless torque and acceleration, and the idle is so smooth and quiet now. I would put this filter on a par with changing the oil in your engine and your transmission to really nice synthetic oils, maybe better. My Explorer runs like new.

Pretty simple. It fit great and I expect it to do a good job.
