Dropped this K&N into my 99 Mazda Protege and the engine is noticeably more responsive. The OEM air filter was definitely more restrictive.

When I first got it, it seemed that there would be no way to get it around the pipe. So i rubbed some oil on the pipe and the hole of the filter and it slid right now with a little push. Which i thought was good since it provided a nice snug fit. The quality of this product makes me happy, my car definitely pulled harder as compared to the off brand filter the previous owner had used. Will buy again if need be. Note: The filter looks exactly like it does in the picture.

Here in South Florida the weather is very unpredictable and due to that rains are nothing short of either a drizzle or a tropical storm. I have ran my car with it on wet streets with no problem fitting was perfect and I gives me a sense on security. Obviously the best thing you can do is preventing (no deep puddles, rivers, lakes ect.) but this is one product that I recommend.
