One of the first mods I make with all my vehicles is to change out the OEM air filter for a K&N unit. The advertised benefits are felt immediately varying a bit from vehicle to vehicle with respect to ease of installation, sound, power gains and fuel economy. The quality of the premium filter is second to none and I like the green idea of washing and reusing the filters.Though the filter is relatively not cheap, you can't go wrong here with the best

While I love the way the Wrap enhances the look of the overall appearance of the engine compartment of my E46 M3, it takes away some of the"BARK" that engine previously had without the Wrap, which may reduce the horsepower gain of the original K&N cold intake system. Time will tell. It also feels like it will be sustible to premature tearing based on the stiffness of the coating on the wrap. Not sure just yet.

I purchased Wix filters before and I have been very pleased. Very easy to install and works great!
