Just as a start point, if you change your paper filter at the prescribed intervals, the K&N will pay for itself in a few changes. Then there is the fact that your engine can actually breathe better with the filter, and thus respond and drive better. Over-all, there is no reason NOT to put a K&N in your vehicle, unless you are one of those people who lets a mechanic do absolutely ALL the work on your vehicles. In that case you are probably spending about $75 a filter, and the K&N Could pay for itself in ONE filter change, if you got off your lazy but and took care of that simple task your own self.
