Get this filter! It does wonders for your mpg, and gives your car a little more pep. I've put them in all my cars (last 3 anyway) and haven't regretted a second of it. They are pricey but considering regular filters cost $20..just two of those covers the cost of this which will last the life of the car. You should definitely get one. One more thing...they say you only have to clean it like once a year, don't beleive it. I have to clean mine at least every 6 months, but after cleaning, the engine runs great.

Drop in installation. Quality of product seemed excellent. I've got to assume it's doing it's job. Will save me money over the life of the vehicle versus replacing with disposable filters. Better for the planet also.

H9i Robert, the best way is with the K&N Filter Recharger Kit. Check it out in our Recharge Kits category.

Maintaining the K & N Filter

I know the K/N filter has to be oiled. Does it have to be oiled when it's brand new? If so, is oil included in the purchase of the filter? If not, what is the cost of the oil and how often does it have to be oiled?

Hi Mike, the K&N filters arrive pre-oiled and ready to use right out of the box.
