K&N Air Filters Reviews

I first encounted K&N air filters over 25 years ago when I owned and raced a Brabham formula car. In all that time, no one has yet to match K&N for construction quality or free flow of air. Maintenance is simple, and these filters will last forever. When you compare then in price to a basic paper filter, they quickly become a bargain since the K&N can be used over and over, saving money. And I notice an immediate throttle response improvement with a K&N goes in. I also think that, being reusable, it encourages keeping a clean filter far more often than when you hold on to a paper filter to avoid buying one. Any way you cut it, this is THE filter to have, and serious racers swear by them. The added performance boost is worth the price alone.

Installed the filter and immediately noticed increased HP and my new exhaust system sounds louder and has a better tone than before the K&N was installed. A great addition for anyone who wants to boost their rides HP and exhaust tone.

I recently purchased (2) K&N AIR FILTERS WITH THE RECHARGE KIT FOR MY 2008 CROSSFIRE. UPON INSTALLATION, I IMMEDIATELY NOTICED A CHANGE IN FOOT PEDAL TO ENGINE RESPONSE TIME ( A MERCEDES 3.2L- 12 SPARK PLUG ENGINE ). THIS CHANGE WAS NOTED WHEN WE WERE STILL HAVING 90 PLUS DEGREE DAYS IN HOUSTON. THE BEST EXAMPLE I CAN OFFER IS THE DIFFERENCE MOST PEOPLE EXPERIENCE IN COOL WEATHER (DENSER AIR) VS HOT WEATHER DRIVING CHARACTERICISTICS. I NOTED THAT MY CAR NOW GETS APPROX. 1 MORE MPG ON THE HIGHWAY. RECOMEND K&N W/O HESITATION.
