After putting on this kit I noticed a very different sound in the cab of the truck (louder) under load/acceleration, just from the air draw. About 2k+ the sound was pretty cool but there seemed to be a bit of a drone or something in the cab (3k rpm). As I mentioned the sound was very cool imho, but not so much the drone. The drone as I mentioned did go away after installing a Magnaflow muffler (part # 12909) Not the cat back system just the muffler. Well worth the money.

I'm not a certified tech but rather a 74 year old guy who loves cars. That said, I do have a pretty decent set of tools and looked forward to this project which was supposed to be a 90 minute exercise. Because of a certain vagueness in the instructions and an incomplete tool list it took me 4 1/2 hours. Now that did include a lost hour tracking down a deep 10mm socket. The rest of the time included rests and re-doing certain procedures. Overall I'm completely satisfied.
