Great Intake (some modification required)

Reviewed By Michael M (DEBARY, FL) Reviewed for a 2005 Toyota Tundra —4/12/2015 6:36 AM

I'll start off by saying I'm very happy with this intake. I purchased and installed it myself on my 05 Tundra in the hopes of gaining a couple mpg as other reviewers had stated and it performs as expected. I've already seen a 2 mpg increase. An added benefit is my truck now sounds completely bada$$. I'm surprised I haven't seen a decrease in mpg because of how much I just rev the engine to hear it. However, I had to modify the included heat shield due to a clearance issue with my hood.

AEM INTAKE

Reviewed By Michael B (Pittsburgh, PA) —4/6/2015 11:20 AM

Would of prefered more HP but apparently you can only gain so much from an intake. Now i have to investagate whether a new exhaust or new fuel injectors and iridium NGK spark plugs can help me break that 300 HP Milestone.
