I found the K&N air intake system to be rather easy to install. I strongly recommend you follow the directions instead of plowing forward to save yourself time. For drilling the 3/4" hole for the temperature sensor I pre-drilled with an 1/8" bit then used a 3/4spade bit. Be sure to use an air compressor to dislodge any remaining shavings before installation. I noticed a difference in sound and torque, but as others mentioned the gas mileage doesn't improve due to using a heavier foot.
