"If you are thinking of this keep in mind that you will have some minor whistling from the intake. If you have a cold air intake, such as the one from Mopar or any other, the whistling can be alittle anoying. Though the improvement to throttle response is wirth it along with a small increase to mpg. Though I have only had it on my truck for maybe two full tanks wirth. My vote it's not bad"

"I have a '04 Chevy Avalanche. I've done intake (airaid jr) and exhaust, with a hypertech programmer. This was my latest. Can't say I've noticed any increase in power or acceleration. I've only gone through 2 or 3 tanks of gas, so not much to say about mpg - maybe a small improvement? My truck has an electronic throttle body, which has a coolant hose running through the bottom of it. I had to go get a longer hose and cut to fit. This was not in the instructions, not hard, but took more time. Not much noise - it whistles a little under moderate to hard acceleration, but you can't hear it over the radio. Not sure it was worth the money."

"noticed quicker acceleration, seems to have a bit more power, and fuel economy seems to have improved *slightly* - overall I'm VERY satisfied - oh, also very easy to install. I think it took 45 minutes, but could have been done in much less time."

"Im unsure as of yet if the fuel performance has upgraded, but i fell an increase in horsepower at higher MPH. Super easy to install, less than 5 minutes. Shipping on the product was super SLOW."

"I have noticed a gain in torque and horsepower during mid range excelleration. It does have a slight whistle at idel, but its no problem. Have not had a chance to check gas milage yet."

"Havent really noticed much of a difference in my 06 gt mustang. Gas mileage may have increased, but not enough to point to this product. There is a slight whistle from the product when you hit the gas hard, sounds like a CAI on some cars(not that loud tho). Installs easily..."

"I had two major issues with this product. The first being that the directions were not specific to my year and make of vehicle. Example-the directions stated to use both gaskets, which I did, but after calling Jet they said not to, I needed to use one gasket and the original "O" ring. So I had to take it all apart again and redue it. The second issue that I had was that I purchased this product because it claimed that it would not cause a "whistle" like other brands do. Guess what, I have a whistle whenever I excelerate. On a positive note, I have noticed a slight increase in MPG but have not noticed an increase in horsepower or torque."

"I installed the spacer and noticed little or no difference in performance. Also, if you decide to buy it anyway, don't overtighten the left lower bolt; its long enough to go through the plenum! One last point - it doesn't whistle, but it "chirps" on acceleration!"

"Easy installation. Haven't noticed any gas mileage increase, but I had a hesitation when I hit the gas and it is gone now. I've noticed better pick-up also. I can't hear any audible whistle like other ones I've heard in other vehicles."

"Easy to install however the supplied bolts were all 3/8 of an inch too short. They did not even fit through the spacer. A quick trip to NAPA solved the problem"

"So far I have noticed a nice increase in mpg on the freeway. Not much around town though. As far as hp I havent noticed a change, she does seem to rev a bick quicker though. Overall I would recommend this product."

"I recently installed the Jet TBS on my 2003 Dodge Hemi Truck. I noticed an immediate increase in low end torque and power. The installation took about 15 minutes. I would recommend this product to anyone. It's an inexpensive upgrade well worth the price."

"first the one of the bolts were to long.the bottom left bolt needs to be approximately 1/4''shorter for it wont hit the valve cover. you have to get used to the air whisle sound.however the tbi gives you a little better mid power and throtle response."
