Description

Replace your limited factory MAF with a smarter unit. The Power-Flow Mass Air Sensor by Jet Performance increases airflow by up to 45% and communicates the increase with the engine's computer to give you instant gains in low-end torque and horsepower.

Made from the factory original sensor with advanced programming flashed in, The Power-Flow is fully compatible with your ride. Because it's a reprogrammed stock unit, it works with factory electronics and the original settings, and it fits like OEM. But, the Power-Flo does its best work with mods like performance chips or modules, exhausts and air intake kits.

Best yet, the Power-Flo mass airflow sensor bolts or clamps-on in less than 15 minutes with simple hand tools. And, yours is backed by a 1-year warranty from Jet.

Notes

Ok lets start off by saying I was a little skeptical, since I am not a newbie in aftermarket parts. But... sfter installation on my Nissan Altima 3.5, I noticed a more responsive car, and a touch better mileage. I will be buying this Jet MAF for my Yoda Truck! Combine with a short or long ram cold air for best results. I'm sold!

Extremely easy install! I've put a couple thousand miles on my truck since installing the Jet MAF. I haven't really noticed a gain in mpg, heavy foot, but throttle response is better.

Upgraded my stock air intake to a cold air, had failed my emissions. MAF out of range was the code; search around for a MAF that would work with a cold air intake system, found this one... installed it and noticed instant increase in power on acceleration, MPG improved, and better torque when towing. Oh and I passed my Emissions :-)... Outstanding quality and it does work, I will never go back to OEM. Besides this thing just looks sick right out the box. I only wish there was a core exchange program to reduce the cost a tad bit. Still worth every dime and I have no buyers remorse. Pay for the quality you'll be happy in the long run.

I put this product on after I put Maganflow's wide open dual exhaust system on my Tundra. I chose the sensor over a throttle body spacer because i read a lot of reviews over the high pitched whistle noise they make and also read that there was no noticeable difference in any measure. I figure if i take a chance on anything it should be the sensor, both are around the same price. That very weekend i took my 5,000lb travel trailer out around 400 miles. I could definitely tell that the sensor makes the truck stay in lower gears longer, it doesn't shift as fast while towing. Which can be a good thing when climbing hills. The down side is that it gets pretty annoying when you have dual exhaust. I did not notice any change in gas mileage. And if there was a change in HP i couldn't feel it. One week after i installed the sensor i installed the AFE cold air intake. This is were the difference is felt. I believe that these 2 products together accompanied by a dual exhaust system is were the HP, better gas mileage and torque is really felt. I could tell a whole HELL of a lot of difference after i installed the CAI. Faster response of the line, giant leaps in mid range. The truck hawls major A$$ By these products together, you wont be disappointed...

This product installs quite easily and in the case of my Impala seemed to invigorate the 3.9L and smarten the transmission somewhat, meaning that it downshifts more readily and remains in a lower gear for a more appropriate interval. It does look suspiciously like a stock MAF unit sans the filter screen and if it is nothing more then shame on Jet for exploiting its customers but assuming the best for the moment I will state that this product has made my car more pleasurable to drive and has not caused an appearance of the CEL. It works wonderfully with the Jet stage2 performance module,CAI and aftermarket exhaust (I have Magnaflow.) The slight increase in fuel efficiency is an added bonus.
