"Good product overall. Took me about 45 min to install start to finish. Directions from AEM are good with pics to help. It looks great under the hood and sounds awesome once you get up to the 4K RPM level with the engine. This is my first mod on my Z, the performace and sound was noticeable. A little quicker throttle response in the mid-range and top-end of the RPM band."

"Instructions took you through the process step-by-step. Took some time though, make sure you have the right tools (metric sockets, allen wrenches, car jack(under driver's seat), lug wrench, etc). Taking apart/reinstalling the under-fender parts was a bit tricky & some of the parts you have to unbolt were in tight places and often difficult to get loose (try to avoid stripping bolts). I put silicone around the headlight to ensure no water leaks through on rainy days. Product has a nice appearance, but there was no real sound difference or noticeable horsepower increase (so in my opinion not really worth the $$ spent on the system). Overall, just a fun project for my Dad & I could work on."

"I purchased and installed my new AEM cold air intake for my 08 Altima Coupe 3.5L last week. I have noticed a better pick up off the line and more engine responsivness. I was hoping for an increase in gas milage but my gas milage went down. (possibly due the way I have been driving :)) The intake looks great under the hood as well."

"The intake is a great piece but you really do need a tune to take full advantage of the capabilities of the intake. I had an AP tune done through emails and it is a monster now, much faster on the top end and no more falling off in the 5-6k range."

"This AEM intake is a top-notch product; fit and finish are excellent. It comes with the AEM CARB exemption sticker on it; it's 50-state legal. It seems to produce much more power than my Nismo CAI did. It also remains much cooler to the touch=cooler air to the engine, even when driving hard. I think the powder coating deserves the credit for the excellent heat dissipation. I believe the Nismo just had paint on it; it definitely got warm to the touch. The oil-free filter is nice and you don't have to worry about extra oil getting sucked into your engine. Don't think...just buy it. Great price-- and faster shipping than most companies located in California!"

"The AEM Cold Air Intake was the first performance upgrade I installed on my little subcompact Toyota Yaris and I learned to love it from the very beginning. The throttle response has improved, the engine seems to have a little more power in the mid rpm range, acceleration feels better and I love the sound coming from under the hood above 3000 rpm :-)"

"I received the product promptly after placing my order online. Great value and works well for my vehicle! It doesn't make it a pocket rocket but every little thing helps. I've installed similar products on other vehicles and this one seems just a little more technical than others. This is partly due to the layout of the Scion airbox. Overall, it's well worth the time and effort to install! Can't beat the price and quick delivery!!!"

"After i put my intake in i could tell a pretty decent increase in horsepower. My engine sounded a lot better and my muffler had more of a crackle to it. My MPG when up quite a bit also. i recommend putting the lower end of the system in from under neith the car, not through the engine compartment. I didnt have enough room to fit the filter and the last few pieces of tubing through the top as the directions said. However, i really like the result of putting the intake system in my car. I'm extremely pleased."

"I have a Mazdaspeed3 2008 and I just installed the AEM cai and it runs incredibly!!! I was amaized of the instant power that you receive under the wheels. Oh and by the way this last Sunday night I beat the heck out of a Mustang Cobra I believe the Cobra model was a 2005. I have more mods installed but still!!! and my car is only a 4 cylynder!!!!"

"An intake system is a must have for any tuner. AEM is one of the top companies that produce quality air intake systems. With that said, it would be extremely helpful for the installation instructions to include photos or diagrams."
