"Installation was about a two hour task--nothing too difficult about it. The intake system installed perfectly and the instructions and photos were extremely helpful and clear. I haven't had it on long enough to see how it impacts gas milage, but I can definitely feel an improvemet to power. AutoAnything is a great place to shop. Delivery is fast and prices are reasonable. I will be purchasing my next exhaust system from them. You can't go wrong."

"No disappointment! An adrenalian rush around 4500 - 6500 rpm from the sound as well as the Gs' been put on the body. Now for the Chip & exhaust! Alpine Development has a nice Supercharger for this as well!"

"The cold air intake gave me 4-6 mpg better gas mileage, a way more responsive engine, and a beautiful engine sound. On the highway, the engine roar and performance for my 1.6L V4 are equivalent to a V6."

Good investment

"I installed the AEM cold air intake on my 2008 Acura TL type s at 1900 miles. In my opinion, the acceleration was at best sluggish and the gas mileage was very disappointing. Removing the stock intake required 2 1/2 hrs. Installing the AEM required about an hour. Although I haven't used two full takes of gas, it appears that the gas mileage has increase around 2-3 miles to the gallon when driven conservatively. The most noticeable change though is how quickly the car response to input from the gas peddle. This alone was worth the cost and time of the new intake. I definitely recommend this change to all TL owners!"

"The intake is a gret buy, very easy to nstall, gave me much more powr in 1st gear but I'am seeing a lack of power ow in 2nd. I beleive I need to time my gear ratio, to getthe max powerbut overall very good prouct."

"I recently purchased an AEM Cold Air Intake kit and I was very impessed with the performance of my 05 Cobalt LS after he intake was installed i am getting around 34MPG now and gained around 10 horsepower so it is worth the money the instalation took a lil while but over all worth every penny."

"Great sounding device. GREAT FIT. Installation takes about an hour, because you need to jack up the car and take off the driver side wheel. ONE INCONVENIENCING ISSUE, THE DIRECTIONS DID NOT SAY TO PLUG UP THE HOSE FROM THE ORIGINAL INTAKE SO MAKE SURE YOU DO, otherwise the check engine light comes on and on repeatedly. Definitely aids in performance and makes the car respond quicker to anyone with a "lead foot". No real change in gas mileage, but driving stupid, or gunning the gas, has not made me lose as many miles as I normally would. Overall, very good device for the money."

"Car is much more responsive...I cannot be sure if it is that much more power or that I can use that power that much more quickly; the car can sound stock when light on the throtle but can has the jekyl/hyde personality when WOT. I am very happy with the purchase"

The right choice

"I got this AEM cai for my v6 Mazda6 and I love it, It sounds like a turbo although of course doesn't perform like one, we would be talking 50+ hp, but this CAI definitely added some boost from 0-60 and even more 20-80. Compared to Injen I would say go with AEM, you wont have to worry about Check engine light and you don't have to replace the filter. Injen adds maybe 3-4 more hp but is that really anything to notice performance wise? AS far as installation, I had to take off the front right tire and I am no installation expert so it took me close to 2 hours, a buddy of mine took him about 1 hour to install on his TL. I would recommend to all. AEM is a great product!!!"
