Description

Get your intake system running cool as can be with the AEM Cold Air Intake. Thanks to a custom design that locates the filter outside the engine compartment, AEM Cold Air Intakes rush cooler air straight into your sport compact like no other intake setup can.

The AEM Cold Air Intake starts with innovative AEM Dryflow filter technology, feeding faster, cooler air through the mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe. That intake pipe is a stunner, too—most AEM Cold Air Intakes come with your choice of a Blue, Red, Gun Metal Gray or Polished finish.

Thanks to detailed instructions and AEM’s soft-mount hardware kit, installing the AEM Cold Air Intake is a breeze. All you need are standard tools and about an hour to start feeling the extra horsepower and torque. Best yet, AEM stands behind your AEM Cold Air Intake with a Lifetime Warranty. Order today, and have the coolest-running, coolest-looking sport compact on the block.

Notes

  • Emissions-related parts for new model year vehicles may be in "pending" status for C.A.R.B. exemption. Earning exemption status takes time, but will be complete before your new vehicle's first smog check.

I am by no means mechanically inclined but I found the installation of this product very easy. Takes about 1 hour and is definately worth the time and price. Running this on a 2012 WRX, improved throtle response, slight noticable HP gain, and excellent engine noise. Love hearing the intake inhail when the turbo starts to spool up. Great product, must have for an automotive enthusiast.

Installation use very few tools. Nothing more than a flathead screwdriver, 10mm sockets, a few extensions for one bolt and common sense. Rewards your speed3 with a definite power increase, and a respectable sound.

Bought this cold air kit for my 05 Focus, because it has the 100,000 mile factory air filter on it. Instructions were not that easy to follow, as you are better just taking the old system off and try to instal the new one with what you have and look at the space to use. It did fit pretty good, and was easy to install with hand tools. It did improove my milage by about 2 MPG. I sure hope that water does not get into the wheel well, where the filter resides, or the engine will injest the water. There is no water shield on this install, otherwise I am pleased with it.

In the past I always have bought Injen air intakes but this time I tried AEM cold air intake, to be honest Iam not that happy with AEM. I feel Injen gave me better perforance. I can't say anything about the MPG because I don't drive this car much. The air intake also was missing two clamps.I will say auto anything always deliver on time.

I'm very pleased with the improvement the intake gave the car. It gave it a deeper sound when you step on it. I could immediately feel a difference in power also.

Very good, cheap first mod. Trying to remove the OEM washer fluid container took a majority of the time.

Love the intake! Great sound and makes the car sound 10 times better! Install was a pain! Instructions were good but not great. I had to go back a few times and figure it out on my own, and didnt like cutting the fender but it was worth it!
