"I recently bought the V2 Intake for my 2003 Honda Civic EX CP. It sounds a lot better now, when accelerating at high RPMS I can feel more horsepower than before. The factory box filter intake is in the garbage now. It wasn't that hard to install it, it took about a little over an hour but it looks great and runs nice. There is a more of a roaring sound now."

"this thing is ridiculous, it sounds like I dropped a 2L in my little civic. Installation was a little interesting though, i didn't have to jack it up or remove the wheel like the instructions said... but the removal of the engine brace was hard w/o an impact wrench. And at least in my case one of the nipples wasn't used... so i just covered it up w/ some tape. Overall a sweet product, and would definitely recommend"

"I've been looking awhile at the best bang for my buck on a easy bolt on for my car. I read a dyno review on the V2 saying the two pipe system really showed true HP and torque gains and not just some product to make your car sound tough. I was not brave enough to install it myself but I did have my local Honda dealer put it on (charged me $150) but I know it was done right. I have a SWEET sound under the hood now and there is definite gains in 0-60 and the engine pulls better at 5000 to 6200rpm range in each gear. My time 0-60 dropped about 0.7sec to around 7.0- 7.15 on 93 octane. Great product."

Much better than Injen RD Cold Air Intake.....

"Huge improvement over my old Injen, which was no better than stock. Better throttle response, revs faster through the whole RPM range, even the low end. The VTEC boost is more noticeable. Plus a nice engine growl as a bonus, and the titanium finish is low profile but looks smooth. The install took some time(anyone who said it only took an hour in their review needs to get a new watch), but worth the time. Very high quality, uses all new parts instead of reusing old parts like Injen does. A must have for anyone with a VTEC engine, a little more expensive than most but very worth the investment."

"The bad first, kind of a pain to install on my 03 civic si seem to be missing a hose clamp and did not mount up very nice but its in there. I think if i cut a hose or two it might fit better. The install book said the filter should not touch anything but the plastic part is kinda resting on the airbox mount, once again if i cut a hose it might fit better. Good news!!! the thing F***ing rocks, sounds good and can notice a real power chance. AEM clams a 17.5 hp boost 4 civic si!! I know i sounds crazy but it feels like it trust me.I do have to say that the people at auto anything rock as well, Very helpful and would recommend them to anyone!!"

"It took just over an hour to put into my RSX. The first thing you notice is the sound... it's great; quiet when you're cruising and strong (but not obnoxious) when you push the pedal. Maybe I'm bias due to preconceived notions, but I feel like it increased the power of the car over all ranges and definitely over 5k rpm. It looks great and clears space under the hood."

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.

"I would go no where else but AEM for intakes. The AEM V2 is out of the world. I installed this part on stock my civic and the horsepower and torque increase are very noticeable. The directions where good, however left you hanging on a step reconnecting the negative terminal at the bottom. The over all install time list for one hour if you never done this set aside two! This system even beats the other cold air intakes including AEM first generation CAI."
