I got the product within 1 week, it was very fast and the intake took me about a hour to two to put it on but it was simple and this was my first time installing an intake into my car, so the step was very simple and easy to follow to do it yourself. The sound from the intake is sick and had a strong roar to it, the car have a slight change in horsepower. I'm really happy that I bought this product and I would recommend this to anyone who's looking to buy a intake for their car.

Love this CAI, the roar when the vtec kicks in is just amazing. Took me about 2 hours to install including pulling off the bumper and flushing radiator. Best purchase of the year for my vehicle. Next purchace will be the XLR8 J-pipe.

this item is great quality but the price is too high! i can buy a new skunk 2 intake manifold for less. also i still have to spend extra on a water bypass valve just to keep water from sucking in thru the system. for the price i paid it should come with a bypass valve. also when i opened box the tube had a rather large dent in it. i didn't pay that kind of money for a dented product. sending it back! i am still getting a replacement because overall it is a good quality system.

The intake seemed to remove some of the hesitation in my 02 Accord. It quickens the throttle response in low rpms, and you can really start to hear the intake growl around 3000-4000 rpms. It really seems to help a great deal with mid-range rpm acceleration, but I woulnd't say it helps all that much to make you to take off faster at a red light. The only real downside was that the throttle body end of the intake tubing was bent out of the box. I bent it back out with vice grips, but scratched that end of the intake tubing up. Luckily the scratched part is covered up by the coupler that connectes the intake to the throttle body. The problem was not a fault of Auto Anything, but probably an AEM QC issue. I highly recommend this intake. It should make anyone who buys it happy. Since I put the intake on, I have been dying to redo my headers/cat/exhaust.

Will this CAI make it where I have to get a programmer?
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jul 03, 2012 4:44 PM
Hello. CAIs do not require the use of a programmer; however, an engine trouble code could pop up under different circumstances depending on other modifications you’ve made to the truck. If you order for the correct year/make/model, you will not see a problem.
