Description

Power down the road with a Banks Super-Scoop Ram Air Kit. Made specifically for your Banks Ram-Air Intake, the Super-Scoop combines all the qualities of your current intake with power-producing cool air. Muscle your way to the finish line with this high-quality ram air kit from Banks.

The Banks Super-Scoop Ram Air Kit connects below your front bumper for easy breathing. Drawing in gusts of cool air, the scoop delivers the air density you need to take engine performance to the max. And, your Super-Scoop can handle weather and imperfect road conditions as well. Rainwater and debris simply funnel out the bottom.

What's more, this ram air kit gives you way more than just crazy power. Install one of these bad boys, and you'll improve your fuel economy, lower exhaust temperatures and reduce smoke. Backed by Banks' 5-year warranty.

Huge waste of money. 1st of all there are outlet ducts directly behind the inlet of the scoop (in other words all of the air that enters the scoop goes directly out the back instead into the intake system). After I received the scoop I tried to get information online as to why the air is designed to straight out of the back of the scoop and found that Banks claims that they are supposed to keep rain out of your intake. I noticed absolutely no increase in power or gas mileage. Save your money!!!!

I have the Banks Ram Air on my 6.0 so I thought it would be nice to upgrade to the Super-Scoop. Installing took about 2 hours. I did buy me new fasteners for the fenderwell I broke some on removal. [I did order the Super-Scoop for a diesel pickup mine is gas]

install was a breeze and first thing i noticed was smoother acceleration/power. also there's less black smoke at WOT which leads me to assume less unburnt fuel due to better flow! it's too early to tell if mpg has improved much but initially appears it's up slightly 1-2mpg from stock intake. i am very pleased with this purchase from AutoAnything and would recommend this quality product to others.

2007 1/2 LMM Durmax 3500HD It did seem to make a difference in fuel mileage be it a small one but every little bit helps at $4.25 a gal. I have used Banks Products for years and have always had very good luck installing them with no issues. And they perform as Banks claim's they will and usually better.

As with every item I have bought from Banks, this one fit perfectly. No modifications necessary, great instructions. I now have the high ram, super scoop and intake box and have noticed a 2-3 mpg improvement and improved throttle response. Not a lot of power increase but spool up is quicker and should allow future mods to work better. Turbo noise is more noticable but not annoying. Auto Anything had the best price around and delivery was very quick.

Have only had the scoop on my truck for a few days. I installed it the same day I installed the Edge Juice/ Attitude. Seems to work really well. I figured for the price, a little added comfort of lower EGT's is a niceatie. I tow a 40' fifth wheel that weighs in right around 15,000.
