the install was easy, had it installed in less than an hour, looks good, seems to have maybe helped alittle on power, also installed a jet throttle body at the same time, so both seems to help a little on power and a noy noisy, do not check milege.

wanted to upgrade the preformance of my jeep a bit and this was a good place to start. I like the fact you can wash out the air filter, didn't like the instructions. Very misleading and sometimes hard to understand. Had to cut the elbow boot to fit the top of the throttle body top and doing this it is hard to keep the right angle so the pipe sits right. But got it done and the moulding fell off week later that protects the pipe from rubbing on the heat shield, had to glue it in place.Hooking up vaccum hose and my car only has 1 hose,so this left me with a extra welded nipple that I had to block off. But looks Great and sounds better. Notice a better power on low end tourqe.

Noticed the intake opened the motor up a little bit. Seemed to accelerate better and didnt seem to hesitate as much goin uphill. Gas mileage improved slightly. All in all pretty satisfied with my purchase

Seems to work like it should and looks nice, but I had to do a little trimming of the rubber boot to get it to sit low enough. Also the chrome piece has a mounting bracket on it that is supposed to bolt to the heat shroud. I could not get this to line up for the life of me. This is why I initially trimmed down the rubber elbow. I ended up having to make an extension for the bracket. It is mounted nice and tight with no rattles now though. Overall a decent product. It looks good, works good and I can hear it sucking air!!
