"What a easy product to install only took about 15 minutes to install. The ram air scoop took a little longer. It decreased turbo lag time at highway speeds, well worth the monney invested."

"I am a bit disapointed that in order to clean/lubricate the filter, you must remove the airbox from the vehicle. Commercials and "Car show" displays them with an easy access door at the top of the airbox. Overall quality of the setup a bit better than the K&N."

"I have seen a bit better in the gas range. No change on the dyno. I had my local performance shop hook her up to the computer and run her on the rollers. It does have a really cool throttle sound now. Kind of like a bear growl or something. Looks better than the factory box."

"i have a highly modified gmc sierra w/5.3. i had a k&n fipk for three years. in my first week i have noticed a BIG gain in gas mileage. performance is the same . but im getting about 107 more miles to a tank. (im very happy) the only problem is i got rid of the factory intake and this kit uses a factory part to install. the new part costs 70 bucks from the dealer. but it's worth every penny. i love this intake! i would recomend it to anyone. oh and this is the sixth time ive used autoanything. great service! my favorite online auto store."

"Installed the Volant Cold Air Intake along with the Air Scoop on my 2006 GMC Sierra. The throttle response is incredible. Coupled with the true dual exhaust with FlowMasters I installed and my 327 cubes feel like a 350 cube or more. Best investment I ever made. Don't understand why they don't come out of Detroit with Volant already on them. Go this way and you won't be sorry."

"The Volant Cold Air Intake has restored the PEP my Nissan Titan had lost over the first two years of ownership.
The only down side seems to be a quick transmission shift around 45 MPH which will slow you down if you don't stomp on pedal to force it to down shift. The tranny wants to short shift to get high gear more quickly than with the stock intake.
Overall I'm happy with the purchase, it's just a bit pricey."

"I was cruising before,,, but once I added the system into my 2000 Linc Nav., I am MOVING now. The increase in power was notice right away and I am waiting to see about the gas milage.
The instructions where great. I took the Intake system to my mechanic and it was installed in 40 minutes.
Getting ready to change exhaust and a view more parts to add a little more power.
THANK YOU"

"The installation was prety smooth, they install a small plastic vacume port in the main tube from its intial asembly. { dum idea for shipping} of course it was broke when I pulled it out of the box. I had to replace it with a brass one. The sound is unreal, I have a vette with Borla Ex, belive it or not it sounds like the vette when I mat the accellerator on the truck. Their is a small gap that you have to fill between the fender and new intake box. { a little custome work if your crafty. Also the port on the front of the box goes to nothing, so I ran a 3in flex tube from the front of the radiator over to the front opening of the box."

"THe ciold air intake was easy to put in, I can notice a difference in the performance of my truck, I notice a difference in acceleration particulary from about a 50 mph rolling start. I would recommend this air intake for people looking for ease of installation with a noticable performance gain"

"Installation was straightforward, however, my teenage daughter could draft better intallation drawings and instructions. (note to the folks at Volant, take a look at a Banks Ram Air Diesel CAI installation manual) That issue aside, intake performs as advertised. MPG has increased by 2.2 mpg (on average) Was installed in combination with a Borla exhaust. Volant's CAI is much better looking than many of the "filter-on-a-stick" assemblies you may see under the hood of some vehicles, and actually does draw cooler air from outside the engine compartment. Well worth the money, just tell Volant to spend some of their company capital on instructions that aren't laughable."

"Installation was fairly easy. I had only one problem, the air duct was rubbing against the temperature sensor on the ac pump. So I had to make the holes bigger in the filter box and move in back a tad. Other than that I had no problems. My acceleration and throttle response went up significantly. The additional air intake enhanced the sound of my Flowmaster exhaust as well. I've also noticed that my truck runs at lower rpms at highway speeds. Overall, a great product worth the money."

"verify you have all the parts before you start. I was either shorted a mass airflow sensor gasket from volant or Ford didn't put one on the truck that I was supposed to reuse. Once I figured out what I was doing everything went on OK. I make shifted a gasket for the one missing. I can feel a performance gain and it sounds nice when you put your foot on the throttle. Everything said, I'm satisfied with it, I'm still waiting to see if I get better gas mileage."
