"Best CAI on the market by a long shot. Took less than an hour to install. Really wakes up the engine with a nice deep aggressive tone. Added about 1-2 mpg. Final product installed is about as sharp as it gets. I've installed them all and the Volant is the clear leader."

"after recieving the intake install took about 15 minutes, it was alot easier to install than i thought it would be. i noticed imediate performance boost. i have not really noticed fuel milage increse yet, but that is probably due to the way i drive. i love the new sound. i would suggest this product to anyone. auto anything was well bellow everywhere else i looked for this product as well as other products. this is a great product and a great company to buy from.the only thing that i didnt like about this product was there were no decals or no warranty papper work."

"Overall i am happy with my purchase the installation was a pain but overall you can feel and hear a increase in performance i am still study my gas milage but it looks like i my have picked up 2 extra miles"

"Pretty cheesy kit. Not really happy with this kit. Little too noisey and poor installation directions. Poor fitment. Pretty disappointed over all. I do notice a little quicker throttle response but not worth the $$. 04 SuperCrew 300hp"

"Overall the kit is great. The only problem I have is the weatherstrip gaskets that go on the intake box. One of them ripped and I had to get a replacement standard weatherstrip from the auto parts store, and it was not fun fitting it in. Once the kit was in, it was fantastic. Good appearance, great sound, excellent performance. A good CAI is the best bang for the buck upgrades for your ride, and you'll notice with this one. I would defiantly recommend it, especially at this price."

"Received product about 4days ago.Opened the box it was very well packed and all of the pieces were there including the instructions. Very pleased with the apperance of the unit it is very sharp looking.Takes about an hour to install but not with the instructions that come with the unit. To get detailed instructions go to Volant.com put in product number and print out your own instructions.And they have video instructions on some models plus a Tech number you can call for help. Would reccomend this product to everyone.Thanks AUTOANYTHING"

"the fast shipping was awesome the free shipping was awesome and the quality and sound and how effective the intake added to increase gas mileage and power was awesome....the price was better than ebay...i like the fact you guys always send me new promotions your having...the only thing with volant is that there needs to me a little modifying if you have a throttle body spacer added as well...but it was very simple and easy...i love it i love it"

"Love this intake. Put in on my 2003 Avalanche and felt the power instantly. haven't checked for better gas mileage but I seem to be getting more out a tank then I was before. Can't wait for the Volant ram air scoop to come out for the Avalanche."

"You know having instructions in the box sure would have been nice as opposed to a simple schematic in a 6x4 inch area at teh bottom of a parts list. But hey I've been working on cars for a long time so it really wasnt that big a deal. On the 5.3 flex engine I have taking out the old one is harder than putting on the Volant for the most part. The screw holes in the base didn't match up perfectly when mated up with old cleaner rigging but I managed to get it in there. Once installed VROOOOM sound on WOT and more torque. MPG was not my concern, I already had a lead foot this just made it worse with the cool sound it makes now."

"I have a 2005 Gmc sierra and i can definately feel the difference in power and it gave my truck a little bit of a different sound. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants better throttle response and some extra hp."

"The quality and appearance of the Volant Air Intake is second to none. I have noticed a 1mpg improvement in city driving and increased throttle response. Current performance modifications consists of a Corsa touring exhaust and Westers 89/91 dual pcm tune. The deep aggressive sound on open throttle is just amazing!"

"The Volant cold air intake was chosen because it is a true cold air intake. The filter is completely enclosed away from any engine heat and breathes thru the fender opening in my 01 f150. There are no bottle necks in this set up and it looks of good quality.I noticed a definate difference. I have been running this truck with a superchips cortex set for performance mode since Dec. 08 and finnaly got the Volant installed in March 09. With a Magnaflow cat back exhaust this trio package for around a grand is a good performance pkg."

"Doesn't fit snug against the fender leaving a little gap on the lower end. I'm going to need to get some double sided weather stripping to fix that. It seems to have more power. As far as better milage ...i can't tell just yet cause it's the winter months now and I have a car start that I use often. It's not load till up step on it ...then watch out ! Awesome WOT response. Makes the engine sound so sweet. If it had some rubber feet to offset the wire harrness under the filter I think it'd fit better also. Directions were terrible on showing which way the mass flow sensor had to be installed. You really had to look at the pictures. Over all I'd say it's a good product not an excellent fit."

"i installed the volant intake on my 04 nissan frontier. The install was a bit of a pain, the kit was missing a few nuts and bolts, and the grommet to fit the air temp sensor was not really the right size, but i made everything work. I think there is still definitley a few things that volant needs to perfect, in order to justify selling this product for $256. All in all though, the truck sounds great and the midrange power has definitley improved."

"Outstanding product, couldnt be more happier. No problems with it at all lil loud but i love it. Can feel the power change. This is the best product for what i do(off-roading) with the sealed box it keeps the water an mud out. Looks great, sounds great, powers great, it is just a great product"

"Harder then I thought it was going to be. Took over 2 hours to install. Directions more of a parts list. You have to push and tug a lot to get the screws wholes to match up. A lot of key missing parts. Only came with one screw and lock washer to bolt down box. Only one 5/8 straight fitting. I happen to have found a PVC sprinkler head fitting the same size that I am using for replacement for the missing fitting. No vinyl end cap. Luckily I bought the accessory ram scoop so there was no need for the end cap. The wrong shape sensor gasket. Over all it looks and sounds but, did not improve gas mileage after one take of gas. I have noticed more power and speed. Sounds great when you step on it. Nice roar from inside the cab."

Volant CAI

"The box arrived in very good condition. I laid out the parts on my bench, everything was there and in good shape. I began the install and realized that there are no install instructions with this kit. If you look at the one diagram Volant sends with the kit you should be able to figure it out. Everything cam out and went back in with no problems. The fit and finish were very nice. I can notice a mild performance difference and can now hear the wastegate valve more. I have not noticed any difference in millage. Overall i am happy with this new part of my truck."

"Had this for a year now. I honestly can't say it has increased gas mileage any. I added a Gibson catback as well and the combination has helped performance, but not noticable on gas mileage which was why I bought it. I calculate gas mileage with every fill up and it is fairly consistant at 17 MPG with my driving conditions....before and after the upgrades. There is more power and more appealing sound."

"This Volant intake gave me a lot of power and my car engine sounds amazing!!! Easy to set up didn't take me very long saw results right away! If you have a gmc i recommend this product, I think it is much better than the K&N, it gave me at least 15 hp"
