"The installation was very easy. For this installation I would recommend spraying the exhaust manifold bolt that is used for the tube support, with Liquid Wrench, etc. Mine was pretty rusty, and you definately don't want to break the stud! The only thing that disappointed me was that every picture, and description that I saw regarding the Airaid system showed an air box which shielded the filter from the engine heat. The system I received is just a straight tube with a high-flow filter at the end which sits right over the right side exhaust manifold. I haven't had the system on long enough to determine any performance, or mileage improvements."

"Installed the AirAid system for my 06 Mustang GT and couldn't be happier. Have noticed a definate increase in torque and throttle response, not to mention the awesome intake sound now eminating from under the hood! Install was clean and straight-forward, only nit-pick was that the grommet (used from stock airbox) was too small for the hole in the AirAid heat shield. A minor fix but neeeds to be addressed in future kits. Other than that, am very pleased, and the system really looks nice (and beefy)...I get comments from anyone who sees the system...a little pricey but worth it!"

"This intake was easier than I thought it would be to install and I think just as good if not better than the more expensive models. It really sounds nice when you hit the gas and my dodge does feel like it is more responsive to the throttle."

"I installed this system on a GMC Denali. Installation was simple and straight forward, the product looks nice under the hood. My disaapointment is that the system for this vehicle is mostly plastic, I was expecting powercoated metal tubing. I do not see an improvement in mileage as advertised. There is a nice roar under full acceleration."

Easy Install

"This is by far the easiest Mod I have done in a while. Excellent air movement and mine is not too noisy. My original air cleaner assembly with the lid flipped was louder by far. Good power and torque throughout the power curve. Definately recommended."

"I don't know if i get any more horsepower or fuel. I "think" i feel a slight turbo sensation at around 2000rpm ..hard to tell. I have a 05 Titan. I also have pipes with this new Airaid Intake System, so its hard to tell with 315HP. I got it for the mileage. They say 2mpg. We'll see? Jster, California"

"this airaid system is very very good product! it gave me an extra 3 to 5 miles a gallon from 28mpg went up to 33 to 35 mpg. i love the mild deep additional sound on the engine."

Pleased Overall

"Hey folks, just put an Airaid intake on my 2001 PT Cruiser with automatic and non-turbo. Istallation was easy, although overall fit is not 100%. The clips that hold the top of the air cleaner on do not stay on the Airaid. The noise is initially louder, but only on hard acceleration, and after a couple of weeks acceptable. I have been recording gas mileage for over a year on my car, and after one fillup I got an extra 2 miles to the gallon. I don't know if this extra mileage will continue, time will tell. Power seems about the same to me, but trottle response is better, and the car seems to have crisper shifts, it does not seem to get bogged down on those shifts. I was very leary of buying an item like this, I felt like I would be buying a placebo effect part, but after purchasing, I feel the $159 spent was worth the money, placebo effect or true performance increase."

"Truck has more low end torque for pulling a 5000 pound travel trailer. Works well with dual exhaust; rechiped computer and Airaid throttle body spacer. If your going to do it right do the above in conjuction with the forced air intake."

Very disappointed

"After installing the system a "Check engine soon" light came on, something that had never happened before and I have owned my F150 for over 3 years. The vehicle runs even more sluggishly than before and my fuel economy has gone from decent for a vehicle of that size to horrible. Any suggestions to remedy this problem will be appreciated."
