Whether you need it for towing, hauling or you just like having more explosive power than the rank and file, the Airaid Intake System is right on target.

By feeding your engine more air, you'll unleash a greater amount of its untapped potential. You'll experience an increase in air flow (as much as 20%), more torque (up to 20 lbs.), a boost in power (approaching 20 horsepower) and often better fuel economy (1-2 mpg, depending on driving style).

The Airaid's mandrel-formed inlet tubing is powder coated, inside and out, for greater flow, protection against harsh elements and great looks. The reusable Premium Direct-Fit Filter gives your engine the cleanest air possible and is guaranteed for life.

Amazingly, the Airaid Air Intake System installs in about 30 minutes without much more than a screwdriver. It's custom designed for your specific vehicle, so the Airaid Air Intake System nestles in just right. And, your Airaid Intake System is covered by a Lifetime Warranty.

"The system was not hard to install. Did take longer than 30 mins for me. The first test drive kicked butt. Drove it on a camping trip up to the mountains and made around a mile and half improvement on mpg on the flats. Wife complains about it being too loud but she will get over it. I look foreward to driving it all the time."

"I installed this item the day before a 900 mile trip. My 2004 PT Cruiser GT Turbo averaged 24 MPG at 65-70 MPH. (With 600 pounds of luggage/ family in the back). Big immediate improvement! Acceleration seems faster, although I haven't timed it. Great value for the money!"

"Originally, I was pretty disappointed in my new airaid system. I discovered that the only things included was the air filter and air dam box, not a complete system (*intake tube sold seperately*). Once, I ordered the Modular Intake Tube, I could notice some differences in accelaration and horse power (haven't figured out the variation in gas mileage yet)!"

"I purchased and installed this system for my Toyota Tacoma and my Dodge Magnum. The installation of both was a breeze, taking a total of just over 1 hour for both vehicles combined. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and all of the required parts were included in the kits. On the Tacoma, I haven't noticed any difference in either performance or gas mileage. In the Magnum, I did notice a slight power improvement, but also noticed a slight drop in gas mileage. This may or may not be due to the high temperatures and humidity here in the Tucson area. The systems look great mounted in the vehicles, although I feel that they are rather pricey for what you get, especially the system for the Dodge Magnum, which consisted of a filter and a mounting box/bracket for $170. Overall, I am satisified with the product but if I had known how little there was to the Dodge Magnum kit, I probably would have not purchased the system but rather would have opted to sticked the the K&N replacement filter I was using instead."

"I bought an Airaid "QuickFit" intake and a "Poweraid" throttle body spacer for my 1996 Jeep Cherokee "Sport". It looks great, but I was mostly concerned with the performance enhancement. I have noticed an increase in power, and in fuel economy. Just idling, you can hear it sucking in air. Installation is fairly easy, even thought the instructions are pretty worthless."

"I drove to Florida (542 miles) and took my Airaid Intake with me. I checked mileage under normal highway driving conditions (80 - 90 mph). I put the Airaid on before driving back. I got an average of 1 and 1/2 miles per gallon more on my way back home under the same driving conditions. It is a little noisy during "take off" but you can understand why when you feel the little extra umph you get when you push the pedal! I love it and would recommend to anyone. Thanks AutoAnything!"

"Having tried aftermarket intakes from Steeda and C&L (both with custom tunes, delivered via XCal II and XCal III programmers, respectively, from some of the most respected names in the Mustang tuning industry) and having returned them both as unsatisfactory, the Airaid was my last shot at an aftermarket intake for the car. With both of the "tune/reflash required" intakes I tried, I gained considerable thrust at higher RPM (i.e., 3500 and better) but paid a significant torque penalty down low (2500 and less). The loss of low-end grunt really made the car unpleasant to drive in rush-hour traffic. Since it's my daily driver, that was a critical problem. (For what it's worth, I've begun to suspect that the elevation where I live -- 6,000 feet -- played an important role here. Many, many Mustang owners at lower elevations are delighted with the same intakes and tunes that simply didn't work for me.) The Airaid comes with a removable "venturi" insert. In place, it constricts the intake where the mass airflow sensor is located, ensuring that the car's computer can maintain appropriate air/fuel ratios without the need for a custom tune. Some fellow Mustang owners on the Internet forums were pleased with their Airaid kits, so I decided to try one. The supplied instructions were some of the best I've seen, and the installation was relatively painless. There was one point where I had to cut the (apparently, heat-shrunk) ends of the breather tube running from the passenger-side valve cover to the intake tube -- an irreversible operation -- but that was the diciest part of it. (Of course, by then, I'd installed the Steeda, then put the factory intake back on, then installed the C&L, then put the factory intake back on...) I must say the quality of the Airaid is outstanding. The materials, construction and fit were all top-notch. (Better even than the very nicely made Steeda intake.) Was it worth it? Well, first, it looks great. Much more visually interesting than the stock intake, if you care about appearances "

"Installed in about 40 minutes with clear instructions and all appropriate parts included. Good looking installation. The sound is unique to other intake systems I have used in the past ie: K and N and Volant. I prefer Volant but their system is a little pricey in comparison. It's rather hard to evaluate performance gain without a Dyno but it appears to have helped. Don't know about mileage yet. I don't really think the heat shielded intakes perform as well as the enclosed types because there is a large amount of engine heat leakage around the sides where not completely enclosed. Overall a good product and I would purchase again."

"The ease of installing the Airaid system was remarkable. All parts came with the unit and the step-by-step instructions were spot on. I do not have any feedback about performance/milage increase but suspect that it will increase. I can state that the transmission shifts faster, especially when downshifing, the throttle response is crisper. The power band feels higher and over a longer RPM range. It is as if the engine came alive, what it should be. Very nice."

"I just made an 800 mile trip with my car after installing the AirAid system. The installation was easy and done in just over a half hour. There was a very noticeable low end power improvement as well as through the rest of the rpm band. Like most people, I had my foot down a lot and my fuel mileage was skewed. The noise level did not seem to change any. I already had full dual exhausts on the car and any engine noise change was not observed. For the price I believe it was a worthwhile investment. Thanks. JJ, Reagan County, Texas."
