"Installation of the MXP model into my 2006
Dodge Ram 3500, 5.9L Cummins was much easier
(and more fun) than I'd expected. Airaid's design, step by step instructions, and quality parts are all world class, down to every detail of every fastener. ok, so does the system do what it claims to do? As far as I can tell yes. Given that Cummins had truly perfected the 5.9, I did not expect much of an increase in mpg. I've had in installed now for about 2 weeks, and have only run the truck unloaded (I load it with a fairly heavy camper). With the factory air box unloaded I was averaging 16-18mpg. With the Airaid I am getting over 19. The real test will come when I go on a trip with the camper. The truck does have a slight but noticeable increase in 'get up and go'. I did call Airaid with a couple of questions (the unit seems to make a slight whistle sound, which is no problem). Their tech person was very knowledgeable. World class product, world class service."

"The Airaid Intake, along with the Poweraid TBS, was completely installed in about an hour and a half. It was so very easy and the power and fuel mileage gains were immediate. I noticed 4 mpg gain the first trip I took. I did the intake, TBS, and performance exhaust all at the same time so I'm sure the mpg's is a combination of them all.
Thanks Autoanything for the great product, price, and quick delivery. You are at the top of my favorites list."

"I, have two of these Intake systems on a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4-Door and 2009 Jeep Wrangler 2-Door. These filters gives both of my Jeep more power and up to 3 miles per gallon of gas. I recomend this intake system for any jeep wrangler owner."

"I selected the Airaid intake system for my 2008 Corvette with the LS3 motor. I selected the Airaid system because it was $150-200 less than the other brands--which I thought were over priced. I was very satisfied with the quality and engineering of the system--the installation instructions and hardware were very well thought out. I did not detect any difference in the intake noise versus the stock housing/filter. Just put it on so I can't say what benefits I will notice on a long trip."

"This is the second Airaid Intake I've installed on a Dodge Dakota. I liked the forst one enough to buy one for my new truck. This one went on as easily as the first but the frame was a little mal-formed and didn't fit as well as the first one. All in all, easy to install, looks good, sounds good and increases HP and MPG. Gotta love it! Not to mention the quick service from AutoAnything.com and teh amazing no hassle service from Airaid!

"It was really easy to install, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t even do their own oil change. It wasn't as loud as I would have hoped cuz of the factory resonator box but being a machinist by trade I made an attachment, which removes the resonator box and connects right to the throttle body and now I get the sound I was looking for.
The power is definitely there and my MPG's have improved (as long as you don’t tromp on it much). I use to roll around getting 15 mpg city and 17-18 mpg highway, now I'm getting 17-18 mpg city and 19-20.5 mpg highway!
I definitely recommend this product for someone who doesn’t want to spend 3 bills for the K&N"

"2008 F250 V-8 5.4 gas engine. The installation was fairly simple, I found the slip fit between the Airaid unit and factory rubber intake tube was very tight - I used a bit of anti-seize to lube the install.
I think the fuel economy has marginally increased, maybe by 1 m.p.g. or so on average. My "butt dyno" says the power is up a tad as well, maybe 10 h.p., it's hard to tell - but it's worth the price of admission."

"This system was easy to install. My main motivation was gas mileage and not extra passing lane power. I have read reviews making claims of 2-4 mpg improvement. I found more like 1-2 mpg. If gas makes it back to $4/gallon it will pay for itself."

"Well I thought I would give this Airaid Intake a try. It took about 20min to install. Is not as loud as I thought it would be at full throttle, but has gave me a little more at top end. I only have one tank full since I install this system and it looks like I getting about 1.5 miles more mpg. Well at least for this tank. Very east to install and looks great. Will give you a little more mpg. Which in time will pay for itself down the road."

"The Airaid/Roush Air Intake Kit for my '04 F150 FX4 is great. The installation was no problem with the right tools. I like the sound of the engine at higher RPM sounds like it breathes much better. Not much sound difference at low RPMs. MPG for the last two tank fills has been just under 20MPG; I was getting 16-17mpg before. I Highly recommend this kit."
