"It took more time to get the parts separated from the packing materials than it took to install this Cold Air Intake. Easy to install, immediate noticeable throttle response. Not sure on the gas mileage yet but once I stop 'testing' the power increase I believe there will be an improvement. The only thing I'm not happy with is the loud sound from under the hood under hard acceleration. I would highly recommend this installation."

"I installed the intake in about 90 minutes. Tha vacuum hose was too short, but I fixed that. The sound is awesome. Much more agressive than stock, and the power increase is very nice. Haven't noticed an increase in mileage, but with the way I drive now, I probably won't notice it."

"I installed this with a Jet Flo mass airflow sensor & a BBK 85mm throttle body. Since I did this all at once, I cannot comment on just the Airaid performance addition, but all three of these things togather made a HUGE difference. My 2001 Silverado Z71 extended cab short box is a rocket now! I also have MSD ignition, Flowmasgter exhaust, shift kit, Corvette servos in the tranny, Superchips Flashpaq, Iridium spark plugs. My 2001 5.3 will outrun a 2008 Dodge Hemi truck, my friend has one & has been beat by me! Next is a cam & headers. AutoAnything has great service & prices!"

Performance (horse power) seems better but who knows? Miles per gallon beats the advertised MPG on the window sticker by 2-3 MPG for both city and hi-way."

"The AirAid Intake works great on my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L truck. I can feel the increase in power and if I drive without a lead foot I get 19 miles to the gal. When I origonally got 17 mile to the gallon. The figures also include the AirAid Throttle body spacer."

"This is my second AirRaid unit. I have one on my 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser and have had it on there for 7 years. I noticed an instant throttle response when I installed my AirRaid CAI on my 2009 Dodge Challenger SE, took a bit to actually hear a difference. Not that its "breaking in" it sounds great and you can feel the difference. A great investment!"

"Installed in 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. The bad first (and it's minor). The box gasket has a tendency to slip off, may have to glue it in place. That's a very small issue compared to the overall quality and performance. The sound it creates is incredible. The low end power increase is deifnately noticable."

"The installation was easy enough. I am dissapointed that I can not tell any difference in performance. I am debating buying a tuner mod chip or a predator tuner. I don't want to be wasting money. I would not recommend this bolt on "performance part " as the vette is fast and these things are fun to put on but you can not feel any difference."

"This is the second time I have purchased this type of setup of both the intake and the throttle body. I had it previously on my 02 Xterra and now on my 06 Frontier. Both systems worked very well to improve hp, gas millage (3-5 depending on how you drive) and throttle response (which I enjoy the most0. Once my order was placed I received it within the week from Autoanything.com. I had no problems with installing the systems on both vehicles. The one problem that I did have was that in my second order, I did not receive the gaskets for the throttle body spacer. Fortunately I have a friend who specializes in that industry and was able to pick some up within the hour. Make sure you check the content before you dismantle your vehicle (which is what I didn't do, because I had such a good success the first time). If you do your homework, you will see that this Airaid system cannot be beat from the price and performance."

"The instructions were straightfoward and easy to follow. The only difficulty was with the air temperature sensor. Since installing this intake I've had a noticeable increase in power, especially in the low end. Gas mileage seems to have improved slightly, though I'll need more fill-ups to tell for sure. Overall I'm happy with it and I'd recommend it to others."

"I recently installed the Airaid throttle body spacer and cold air filter kit on my new (600 miles) 2009 Chevy Silverado Ext. Cab 4x4 pickup. The truck is a 5.3L Flex fuel,4speed Automatic with tow/haul,traction control, 3.73 gears , and 20" factory wheels/tires. The factory air filter system is very restrictive and the performance was slow across the entire rpm range. The Airaid throttle body spacer and cold air kit are easy to install in about an hour. With tow/haul engaged and traction control off the truck is still slow from a standing start(probably the 20" wheels)but the mid to upper rpm range horsepower and torque are noticeably better and it sounds better too. No increase in fuel mileage detected and the kit is a little pricey but still worth the improved performance."
