"I am very happy with the Airaid Intake System. I have seen a 2 mile increase and the throttle response is
amazing. The installation took less than 10 min and it looks great. I think it is a good bang for the buck and would recommend this product for any PT owner."

"My '07 Frontier NISMO was definitely sluggish off the line, especially when towing my 3,000-pound travel trailer. No more! With the Airaid filter, the truck steps right out there. It also tears uphill. Previously, I was getting 10.7 MPG: now I'm at 14.1. Some of that gain is from an wind deflector, but I figure the Airaid is giving me a solid 2 MPG extra. This is a great product and an excellent value."

"I have a 2009 GMC Sierra with a 5.3 liter FlexiFuel engine that I installed this product on, and so far, I have been completely satisfied. It was fairly easy to get the stock air system out and the install of the Airaid went smoothly, probably around an hour and a half total. I have noticed an increase in my throttle response, and am seeing highway mileage between 2 - 3 miles per gallon, depending on conditions and traffic. Good job, Airaid!!"

"Having used several other name brand CAI on similar cars, I found Air Aids to be the cleanest fit and finish. It does produce a modest increase in thottle response and does feel as if the motor has greater torque at lower rpm's. Have not noticed any significant change in gas mileage. Car sounds wonderful with flowmaster exhaust. Would recommend to anyone considering a CAI."

"If Airaid thinks that this is a bolt on installation, then they have alot to learn from companies like K&N. I have done full on installs of bolt ons, including a complete suspension replacement on my old Mustang GT with Maximum Motorsports tubular K-member, a-arms and replacing the rear suspension with Max Motorsports Torque Arm and panhard bar setup.
Bought the Airaid for my 2008 LS3 Corvette. Figured it should bolt right on. It doesn't come close. I will keep it, as the price point is the only thing going for it. I would rather pay a few dollars more for one that fit properly without having to force things to fit. At least the intake tube and throttle body mate up well.
Next time, I will buy from another company. Maybe I got a bad unit, don't know. All I can say is that the one I got fit like garbage."

"Slapped this on my truck, along with the PowerAid throttle body spacer. Got the system hoping to improve gas mileage a bit. Unfortunately, any gas mileage I may have saved is gone because of my constant need to put the foot into it! I can definitely feel the new power in the seat, and the truck seems to have a monster under the hood now. I should have put this on a long time ago...biggest problem I have is wearing down the rear tires!"

"I own a 2008 C6 Chevy Corvette. I took delivery on Sept 2008 and noticed from day one a surging idle problem that cascaded into engine skipping and random stalling. I received a check engine light and had an OBDII reader interpret the two codes (insufficient air or air flow obstruction). I removed the intake tube and associated air cleaner and noted what appeared to be a piece of thin black die cut cardboard lodged in the throttle body and plastic intake tube. I consulted the dealer and he advised me that the OEM intake tube has two pieces of the aforementioned cardboard installed in the top inside surface of the intake tube to dampen certain air intake resonances and are prone to becoming dislodged. I removed the cardboard dampeners from the intake tube and reinstalled the tube. The car ran good but still noted the irritable idle rpm flutter. I contacted several professional Corvette tuners and they indicated that the MAF sensor is very sensitive and susceptible to turbulent airflow condition at idle. It was recommended to install an aftermarket cold air kit such as the Airaid kit. I ordered the new Airaid kit from Auto Anything (I great company to do business with including pricing and customer support). The Airaid kit has stator vanes molded in via the inside of the intake tube to smooth out the erratic air flow. Additionally the inside of the tube is glassy smooth in contrast to the factory tubes irregular finish. I installed the tube and associated components in approx. one hour. I started the car and it idle remarkably better with a slight attractive intake growl (The company claims the additional as a bonus: an additional 13 HP and 12 Ft/Lbs Torque for the 6.2L LS3 Corvette C6. These numbers are true increases with stock tuning on a Mustang engineering quality chassis Dyno.). I am extremely pleased with Airaid product!!!"
